Once known as Taima Domain - Arai is a fertile, prosperous domain, blessed by the goddess Inari. The Arai clan has ruled it for thirty generations. What few people outside of the family know, however, is that the heir transforms into a dog on their 20th birthday.

The only way to abate the curse is for a Miko (Shrine Maiden) to escort the Arai heir into the Taima forest - the domain of Inari, herself. The Miko and the Heir are inhibited from ever meeting until the day they set off together into the dangerous forest - headed toward Inari's shrine.

But Taima no Sagami and Arai Yoshimoto have broken that rule and become close. The two friends hope to turn Yoshimoto human again - but...

Will they succeed? Will they find a way to end he curse once and for all? Will Yoshimoto stop peeing on every tree they pass?

Characters:

Taima no Sagami (21, F) - Orphaned since before she can remember, she was raised by the priestesses at the Taima Shrine and grew up to be a Miko, herself. As a child she was approached by Yoshimoto and, though they were repeatedly punished for it, the two of them became close friends. She has vowed to follow through with her destiny and save Yoshimoto from his family's centuries-old curse. No matter the cost.

Arai Yoshimoto (20, M) - Heri to the venerable and wealthy Arai clan. He is a master swordsman, handsome, charming, and intelligent and well-liked by both his peers and the common folk of the realm. Unfortunately, none of that saved him from transforming into a dog when he turned 20. Now with his old friend, the Shrine Maiden Sagami, he ventures into the deadly Taima woods to reverse this curse. He hopes that one day he'll be able to live a peaceful life...with the woman he loves.

Unzip folder and then use [TaimasCurse.exe] in main folder to play.

Note:

This is a narrative RPG, not a combat RPG. There is no exp, no leveling, no item drops, no shops, no grinding. Fighting unnecessary battles will only weaken you for the future. Think strategically. The difficulty is not particularly high, but you can get trapped by poor decisions.

If the difficulty is giving you trouble, or you just want to breeze through and see the story unfold, then Inari offers a Story Mode in the opening segment. Simply select that and the attributes of the party will be doubled to speed things up.
